The coronavirus pandemic understandably has a growing number of people concerned they may have COVID-19 at the first sign of illness.
Now Alexa is stepping in to help assess your symptoms and suggest what to do next.
Yesterday, Amazon announced a number of Alexa and Amazon device resources relating to COVID-19.
Top of the list is Alexa's ability to offer guidance to US users if they think they have been infected with the virus.
Asking, "Alexa, what do I do if I think I have coronavirus?" will result in Alexa asking you a series of questions.
They cover such things as your symptoms, travel history, and likelihood of expsoure.
Your answers will then be assessed and guidance provided, which Amazon pulls directly from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
If you're located in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, India, the UK, or the U.S, Alexa is also capable of playing a song for 20 seconds for you to wash your hands along to.
That way, you're following the guidance in terms of time and can fully-focus on perfecting your technique.
This could prove particularly useful if you have kids learning about the hand washing routine.
As well as potentially putting your mind at rest over not having COVID-19, Alexa will answer all of your questions relating to the pandemic, as well as offering the latest news reports via CBS News, Fox News, NBC News, the CDC PSA videos, and through the use of the News app on Fire TV.
Echo Show owners can take advantage of CBS News Live, too.

If you'd prefer to distract yourself from the news, Amazon is keen to remind everyone Echo devices can be used to call or video chat with friends and family, stream Audible, listen to podcasts, and if you're a Prime member, there's always going to be some entertainment to stream to take your mind off what's happening in the world.
