Apple confirmed to CNET on Saturday that, while the computer is still available to purchase from Apple's website, it will be removed once all inventory is gone.
As an alternative, Apple suggests that iMac fans check out the 2020 27-inch iMac.
The iMac Pro features an Intel Xeon processor, AMD Vega graphihcs, 10 Gigabit Eterhnet, a 5K display, and ECC memory.
It also features a custom Apple T2 chip for encrypted keys as well as a special version of macOS to lock down the boot process.
Since the iMac Pro's debut, it's been touted time and time again as one of Apple's most powerful options.
Despite this status, however, it's rarely received any refreshes or upgrades.
Daxdi reviewed the iMac Pro in 2018, awarding it a 4/5.
In August 2020, Apple discontinued the lower-end 8-core model of the iMac Pro and made the 10-core version the base option instead.
No price cuts came with these changes, however.
The iMac Pro has always been somewhat cost-prohibitive, especially when compared to PC builds with similar (or better) specs for the price.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is planning to rework its entire line of iMac computers.
There's currently no word on whether that means new version of the iMac Pro or a replacement.
For anyone who wants to snag an iMac Pro before it's no longer available through official channels, head to Apple's website to lock one in.
Once they're gone, picking up stray models from Apple Stores or third-party sellers will be the only option.
