Motorola Tips Moto G Fast, Moto e Phones Starting at $149

It's been a busy year for Motorola.

Hot on the heels of the Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus, the company is bringing a couple more budget-friendly phones to the market in the form of the $199 Moto G Fast and the $149 Moto e.

Let's break them down one at a time.

Moto G Fast

The Moto G Fast sports the same refined aesthetic as the Moto G Power, including a 6.4-inch display surrounded by minimal bezels.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC along with 3GB of RAM.

It ships with 32GB of storage, and you can add up to an additional 512GB with a microSD card.

A 4,000mAh battery should easily get you through the day.

Like the other G-series handsets, the G Fast has a triple camera stack.

There's a primary 16MP lens, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

The selfie cam clocks in at 8MP.

Moto e

For $50 less, the Moto e is a handsome phone in its own right with some pretty promising features for the price.

For starters, it sports a 6.2-inch display with a teardrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera.

On the back you'll find a 12MP lens and depth sensor, as well as a fingerprint sensor.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC along with 2GB of RAM.

Storage comes in at 32GB, and once again you can add an additional 512GB with a microSD card.

There's a 3,550mAh battery that Motorola claims can last two days between charges.

Both phones ship with Android 10 and Motorola's new My UX interface.

For the most part, My UX doesn't venture far from stock Android, but it does allow you to make extensive customizations to the interface.

It also includes the Moto GameTime app for enhanced gaming, as well as Moto Actions, which enable you to use gestures for common tasks.

Availability

The Moto G Fast and Moto e will be available unlocked on Motorola's site and through carriers.

Pre-orders begin today, and the phones will be available starting June 12.

We'll have a full review of each device, so check back soon.
