    La Grande Dame was created in 1972 as a tribute to Madame Clicquot for her quest for quality, innovation and the spirit of a woman entrepreneur.

    It is the highest expression of the Veuve Clicquot style; it enhances freshness and minerality thanks to the wonderful terroir of the grapes.
    Intense colour with golden highlights.

    Sparkling and fine bubbles .
     
    In the nose it reveals a saline solution, mineral background, floral notes (acacia, peony), notes of fresh fruit and finally more toasted notes of hazelnut and toasted almonds.

    When shaken, the bouquet becomes rich and voluptuous, with notes of brioche, nougat, ginger and preserved lemon.
     
    In the mouth, it is thick and full of substance.

    The texture is crisp and silky.

    The minerality of the chalk resonates brilliantly with a dense structure and contributes to the longevity of the finish.

    The final note is fresh and generous, hinting at a discreet dosage followed by a long period of aging after swallowing, which does not alter the natural balance of the wine.
