Louis Roederer Cristal Médaillon Or 24 Carats Edition Limitée Jeroboam 2002 Louis Roederer is the producer of Louis Roederer Cristal Médaillon Or 24 Carats Edition Limitée Jeroboam 2002, a sparkling wine from Champagne with the best grapes of 2002.

Appearance: yellow ochre, persistent and constant bubbles.

Nose: a bouquet of great richness, a crescendo of intensity of aromas, expressed in remarkable harmony, gourmand floral notes, aromas of delicately toasted hazelnut, cocoa and candied citrus, particularly spicy.

Palate: ample and caressing on the palate with all its unctuousness, aromas of ripe fruit, gourmet notes of caramel, pastry and white chocolate.

APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Champagne.

VINEYARD: Mineral calcite soil.

GRAPES: Pinot Noir 55% and Chardonnay 45%.

AGEING: it is aged for an average of 5 years in cellars and rests for 8 months after disgorging in order to perfect its maturity.

WINEMAKING: 20% of wine vinified in wood (oak barrels) with weekly punching down - No malolactic fermentation.

The cuvée Cristal is made from grands crus from the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs.

WINE PAIRING: A perfect accompaniment to caviar, fish, shellfish such as scallops, lobster and prawns, ideal with smoked salmon, oysters and marinated raw fish.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 6-8ºC
