Forget about dropping by Apple's Genius Bar or an authorized partner to get a repair.
Courtesy of Go Tech Services, MacRumors reports that Apple now offers on-site repairs in the United States.
Professionals travel directly to your location, assess the damaged product, and fix it right there.
It doesn't appear available in most U.S.
cities, but on-site repairs are starting this week in some of the largest metropolitan areas in the country and should expand into others over the next few months.
Apple did not issue any formal announcement, however.
The list of supported U.S.
cities currently includes New York, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
As long as you're located in one of those metropolitan areas, your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider should offer on-site repairs.
The Apple Support site details on-site repairs by Go Tech Services, but additional partners are likely signed on as well.
On-site repairs will begin on February 3.
Apple notes that authorized partners could charge additional fees for on-site repairs.
It's unclear what the fees are, but booking an appointment actually takes place through the Apple Authorized Service Provider's portal.
Some problems aren't eligible for on-site repairs, though.
MacRumors couldn't sign up for an iPhone battery replacement.
Yet it did find that Go Tech Services would show up for a cracked iPhone display.
Since the on-site repairs program just started, it's likely that Apple and its authorized partners are slowly rolling out the breadth of its addressable problems.
