Balenciaga Florabotanica - Parfums Balenciaga presents its new feminine fragrance Florabotánica.
It is a suggestive name for a fragrance that evokes the botanical gardens of the 18th century where the most exquisite and unique plants, with strange colours, discovered in distant lands and brought back from their travels by enthusiastic biologists, at the risk of their own lives, to create this extraordinary garden, were exhibited.
Its creators, Olivier Polge and Jean Christophe Hérault, have composed a melody of scents containing two main chords, like a plant world within a plant world: one of vetiver, amber and caladium to create a mysterious echo of dark wood and moss, and one of rose, carnation and mint for a note of youthful energy and freshness.
To give it a fairy-tale feel, the two perfumers have added a psychosensory plant formula that gives it a special magic: the experimental rose has the power of endless fascination.
